A portrait of Stef through their hands, including their “Life” tattoo which is a direct ode to Derek Jarman. He etched the word “life” into a piece of lighthouse glass while he was cultivating his garden at Prospect Cottage in Dungeoness and dying of Aids-related illness. Devotional, stoic, hopeful, grieving; the glass and the tattoo speak to the resilience of life despite the realities that often loom over us.
